March 7, 2019
7:00 to 9:00
Whiskey 101 will cover the basics of whiskey, covering the distinguishing characteristics of six different types, what to look for when tasting, and how to begin or add to your collection.
Whiskey Night at Hurley House is a way to connect with a community of whiskey-lovers and enthusiasts. Whether you are a curious beginner or an experienced collector, these evenings will provide a way to learn something new about whiskey.
In addition to information about different whiskeys, the event will include lots of mouth-watering food (come hungry!), discussion-based content, and a gathering-type environment that is designed to feel more like a party and less like a classroom.
The evening is led by Timm Sasser, who is an active whiskey collector and all around amazing human. His witty teaching style and comforting way of connecting with others will set the tone for the evening. To quote Timm, “This class gets a lot more fun as the evening progresses.”
All attendees must be 21 years or older.
Reservations are required and are non-refundable if canceled less than 48 hours before the event.
